Southern Land Company Homebuilding is very excited to be a part of the St. Jude Dream Home project again this year.  As we go through our daily routines, we sometimes forget about the realities of life.  This home not only serves as a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the community, it serves as a reminder of how serious cancer is and how it can change the lives of a family in a heart beat.

When I was first approached about building a St. Jude Dream Home, my only knowledge of the organization came from the commercials I had seen as a child, featuring St. Jude founder Danny Thomas.  But since our involvement last year, I have learned that the original vision that came from Danny Thomas has evolved into a remarkable organization that literally helps thousands of children in need – every single day of the year.

Knowing what St. Jude strives to accomplish, and understanding its dedication to helping sick children has enlightened everyone involved with the project.  This is an initiative that has quickly captured the hearts of Southern Land Company and all of its partners.
